Ellie Wood’s debut, THE WILDWATER WOMEN, was published by HarperNorth in 2022. A novel to lift the spirits and warm the heart, it is the story of four women, all with very different lives, brought together by open-water swimming and a need to wash away their pasts. But will their friendship be enough to keep them afloat when they each must face their fears?
Ellie was born and brought up in the Lake District, in the village of Cartmel. Having worked as an editor in London publishing, she has now moved back to Kendal, in the Lake District, where she continues to write and edit. Her new novel, THE RESTAURANT AT THE HEART OF THE LAKES, will be published by HarperNorth in early 2024.
