Lynne McEwan
Glasgow-born Lynne McEwan is a former national newspaper photographer turned crime author. She’s covered stories including the Fall of the Berlin Wall and the first Gulf War in addition to many high profile murder cases. She currently lives in Lincoln and recently completed an MA in Crime Fiction at the University of East Anglia.
Her first novel, IN DARK WATER, set on the Scottish borders and featuring part-time lifeboat woman and full-time DI Shona Oliver, was published by Canelo in eBook and paperback in 2021 and was a Scottish crime Kindle #1 bestseller. Her second DI Shona Oliver book, DEAD MAN DEEP was published by Canelo the following year, and the third, THE GIRLS IN THE GLEN, in 2023. Lynne’s fourth Shona Oliver book, THE GATHERING STORM, will be published by Canelo in early 2024.
